READ 24 ROW MAXI PLEATER
Like the Read 32 row, the Read 24 row MAXI has been redesigned and improved offering all the same great features with the difference being the number of half rows. Half row spacing span the entire length of the rollers. Half spaces can be used as guidelines when smocking or to better hold difficult fabrics that tend to open and bubble the pleats. Pleat half spaces on light to light-medium fabric only. Remove half row needles (every 2nd needle) when pleating medium to heavy weight fabric.

A Thread System for your pleater
Your ComPleater thread box has been constructed from hand picked white pine, carefully sanded and finished with a durable water-resistant finish. It is available in four sizes to fit the 16 row Pullen, 16 row Read, 24 row Sally Stanley or 24 row Amanda Jane pleaters.The 16 row boxes hold 12 spools but come with 4 bobbins to give you the full 16 thread capacity. The 24 row boxes will hold 25 spools or any combination of spools and bobbins that you wish. Gold or orange coloured quilting thread is recommended.
